The collection consists of weekly and monthly newsletters published by the Immaculate Conception Parish, Vol. 1 No.3, 4, 6 and 36; Vol. IV No 35, 42, 44, 45, 47, 51 and 52; Vol. V No.1-8, 10, 15-17, 23, 27, 28, 30, 31, 33-42, and 45-53; Vol. VI No.1-6, 8-11, 13-18, 20-39, 41-47, 49 and 53; Vol. VII No. 1-7, 11-13, 16-24, 26-38, and 41-52; Vol. VIII No.1-11, 13-19, 22-27, 30-36; Vol. IX No.9-11, 14-37, and 39-52; Vol. X No.1-5, 20-24; Vol. XV No. 49-52; Vol. XVI No.1-2. Also included in the collection are two pamphlets issued by the parish, a Pastoral Letter of His Eminence Archbishop of Chicago published in June of 1954, two brochures about Catholic Colleges and Universities in the Chicago area, two recital programs of the Garino Accordion School from May of 1951 and April of 1952, a newsletter titled The Parish Voice, published by the St. Joan of Arc Church in Indianapolis, and 4 newsletters from Our Lady of Ozarks, Carthage, Missouri.

Peter Voulkos Sculpture collection

The collection contains correspondence, news clippings, photographs, and other materials related to the public sculpture sometimes called "Miss Nitro" by Peter K. Voulkos located next to the Highland Park Public Library. The abstract sculpture was partially funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The bronze sculpture was installed in August 1973 and was met with controversy.
